2005 Beneficiaries
Three charities were chosen to receive funding from The Shane Warne Foundation in 2005 and they were; Challenge, Kids Under Cover and Beth’s Legacy.

The donations will help these fine organisations to continue with existing projects and start exciting new ones, all designed to benefit the many families and children they assist on a day to day basis. Challenge- Supporting Kids with Cancer: $175,000
This Charity provides children living with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders with the opportunity to put their illness aside and interact with other children in similar circumstances. TSWF purchased a Tarago to transport these children around as well as funding a week long Camp for 180 children in remission to bring joy to their lives and give them some time to forget about the trauma of their illness.
Kids Under Cover: $175,000
Every young person has a right to a safe and secure place to call home and a sound education. Our funding has assisted KUC in building bungalows for homeless and at risk young people. Some of these young people are victims of either physical or sexual abuse. While living in a Kids Under Cover home, these young people must attend school or participate in a recognised job-training program. This helps to ensure they develop the skills required to successfully move on to independent living within the community.
Beth’s Legacy: $175,000
This charity provides short-term practical and financial assistance to families with an ill child in hospital. Our funding provides Care Packages to various children’s hospitals to make a parent/carer’s stay more comfortable and to enable them to remain by their child’s bedside. This has been ongoing since 2005 and continues today.
