2010 Beneficiary Announcement

The Shane Warne Foundation is very pleased to announce that we were able to distribute over $530,000 this financial year; with 28 various children’s charities and individuals benefiting from the distribution.

As an Umbrella organisation, The Shane Warne Foundation achieves this by supporting a diverse cross section of charities that work ‘hands on’ and so effectively handle the day to day needs of these brave children.

The work of the above charities is amazing and we are very proud to be associated with them. We will be tracking the progress on the initiatives and programs we are supporting over the course of the year to bring you a better insight into how you are making a difference through your support for TSWF.

We are proud to say we have now made over 100 distributions totalling over $3 million to more than 70 separate charities.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved with TSWF; including the many people who supported our events and made them the successes they were, as well as the generous celebrities who so graciously donated their time to entertain.

The large amount distributed this year was also made possible thanks to the great support TSWF receives from generous corporations, with special mention to:

  • 888
  • Parragon Publishing
  • SEL
  • Channel 9

Last but not least, we would like to thank our directors (Shane Warne, Ann Peacock, Garry Lyon, Andrew Bassat and Glenn Robbins) for the time and effort they put towards making our Foundation a success.
