NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES FUND
While the foundation predominantly donates funds to charitable organisations in Australia (who themselves assist seriously ill or underprivileged children), the Foundation does have a limited capacity to directly help children under 18 years of age who are in financially necessitous circumstances.
The expression “necessitous circumstances” refers to financial necessity. A person is in necessitous circumstances when his or her financial records are insufficient to obtain all that is necessary, not only for a bare existence, but for a modest standard of living in the Australian community. Necessitous circumstances do not extend to the absence of merely desirable advantages.
As TSWF Necessitous Circumstances Fund is only permitted to provide funding to beneficiaries that are in necessitous circumstances; TSWF requires all applicants and potential beneficiaries to provide certain information in order that it can assess each potential beneficiary’s circumstances.
TSWF will only accept one Application per potential beneficiary in each calendar year. All applications will be reviewed by the management of TSWF and assessed on a case by case basis.
Should you have queries regarding a potential beneficiary’s eligibility for financial assistance or completing the application form, please contact The Shane Warne Foundation on (+61) 3 9595 3811 or email info@tswf.com.au.
PLEASE NOTE: TSWF are not currently accepting necessitous circumstances fund applications. Please visit our website in September 2010, when the application form will become available to download.
