Make-A-Wish Australia
The generous support of The Shane Warne Foundation will allow Make-A-Wish Australia to continue to grant the cherished wishes of indigenous children with life-threatening medical conditions, such as Annis.
Annis was confined to a wheelchair after an accidental shove left him as a quadriplegic with a life-threatening medical condition.
A keen footballer before the accident, it was easy for Annis to think of his cherished wish – a weekend of AFL football in Melbourne. The opportunity to attend the Anzac Day clash between Collingwood and Essendon, and then catch a Western Bulldogs game, was too good to be true. He was also able to enjoy something very few people get to experience – a visit to the Bulldogs’pre-game inner sanctum, where he was able to talk to some of the players. We are truly grateful for the funding received from TSWF and, with your assistance, Make-A-Wish Australia can continue to provide joy to these children during a very difficult time.
