Shane Warne, along with the Foundation members, welcomed beneficiaries from 2008/2009 plus a host of other exciting guests and Foundation friends. The Foundation members took the opportunity to say thank you to the generous support of their sponsors.
Chairman Shane Warne along with board members Ann Peacock, Garry Lyon, Andrew Bassat and Glenn Robbins were there on the day to join in the fun and meet in person the brave children TSWF strives to help.
The Shane Warne Foundation’s mission is to enrich the lives of seriously ill and underprivileged children in Australia, now and in the future. To date, TSWF has given away over $2.4 million since 2004. This year alone, over $800 000 has been given away to over 35 different children’s charities.
With thanks to the incredible support of Crown, the fun took take place for the first hour in the newly developed Food Court and complimentary food was provided to guests thanks to McDonald’s, KFC and Krispy Kreme. Ronald McDonald, Tip Top Tom the Magician, face painters, and other exciting activities like Krispy Kreme doughnut decorating and TSWF awards kept the kids entertained followed by an exciting hour of free games for everyone at Galactic Circus.
